I've updated the design of my blog.  More upbeat, I think.

It's about time!

I have let this lapse way too long.  Could give lots of excuses, but who wants to hear all that??

I am very excited with the upcoming winter's activities ..   I am feeling better than I have for a long time.   I finally took a very Long rest.  Stared with a Taro card reading.

She was adamant that something had collapsed in my life.  -Big change- And that I needed to rest. I was recuperating from 2 surgeries in less than a month and  an episode of not being able to keep anything down for 3 weeks.  -So I did not go to meetings, take on more commitments. etc.... . -and got rid of a couple of activities, that were not heading me in the direction I want to go. Really went underground for awhile.   Am teaching less, partly because a new class means a new sample,  &  that takes time.     So spending much more time on my beading. I have also made a promise to myself to finish work and enter shows.  Again takes time.  I think that when I finish the project or even see it finished in my eye... then I lose interest. & get excited about the nezxt project.   So let's see what happens! I have a couple of wonderful bead wall hanging pieces that are 3/4 done.  Have to make some inventory for a couple of shows. So in Dec will be able to focus.   The first one will be a challange I started.  The challange was to pick 3 colors and make a medalion.  Then to use the medalion in a quilred wall hanging.  I chose blueberry, rasberry & cream.  The blueberry and rasperry are finished.  Now to do the cream and incorporate them in a wall hanging.  I have a couple of ideas.  Each is about as big as my hand.

Cheater Beading: (1 Session) Sunday Dec 6 1:00-4:00–Pick a fabric motif, bead it and applique to purse or jeans..

Starting out

This is the beginning of a new stage... Blogging. Recording my musings. Wonder who will read it. Righ now am finish in a really neat wide cuff. Hope to get it on the brass form tonight. This is the third one and is the busiest by far. But I think really good.
